This software is great. It's stable, reliable, and delivers a high-quality product.

IDModeler provides a real time savings in model development for projects in 3D animation software, like Anim8or.

It's so wonderful to see software, like this, that just plain works.

The examples are 'blocky' is there any option to smooth them?

We can get smoother models by going for a high resolution model. When you start the model creation process, you get the option to decide the poly count level. Move the slider to the right for a high quality model. The sample models at the website have been created at low poly count level so that they are of small sizes for easy download.

When was the last update released, and what are the future plans for the software.

IBModeler 2.0 was released around January of 2007.
We are working on our next version which should be out by the end of 2008.
Among the new features would be:
1. Use of curve definitions to get smoother and more professional quality models
2. A completely revamped user interface being developed using the Microsoft Presentation Foundation and support to save model files in the xaml format which can be opened even using internet explorer.
3. One important addition that users will appreciate is a warning system that tells users in advance about incorrect inputs for camera positions for any photograph.
4. We are also trying to do away with the background screen requirement.

Have you considered a forum, there are lots of free ones out there, maybe we could start one for helping and question answers.
I will be purchasing IBModeler soon, I have yet to set up a studio to test the demo, going to get started this week.

Till now I have been answering all queries through the mailbox support@ajubaa.com. But I like your idea. If users put their questions on the forum and I answer them there, then it would be out there for everyone to look and even post comments. I will research for a good forum, but your recommendations are also very welcome.

Most of the popular forums will do, I will be posting a review of your software on our forum sometime in June, I hope it will generate some interest for your product.

Thank you. I would love that. I know I am not doing enough as I am so busy with the development of the new version. I would like you to review that too when it's out.

I will spend the next week setting up a studio, and using the demo.
I will show results on the NuclearGlory forum.
Good luck with V3.
